MyTournament.info offers two specific tournament schedules that, after the group phase, produce a final ranking per 8 teams with a maximum of 3 additional matches:

  • Groups, quarter finals and third place play-off per 8 teams
  • Groups, quarter finals and third place play-off per 8 teams (12, 20, 28 teams: group 9-12, 17-20, 25-28)

Additional schedules for numbers of teams that is not a multiple of 8

What if the number of teams isn't perfectly divisible by 8? No problem! Mijntoernooi.info automatically adds a suitable supplementary schema for the leftover teams, ensuring every team gets a fair and complete tournament experience.

Here are the different scenarios for the remaining teams:

  • 2 teams:
These teams play a final for the last and second-to-last place in the final ranking.

  • 3 teams:
These teams are placed in a group of 3 teams.

  • 4 teams:
For 4 teams, you can choose between two schemas.

If you've opted for Groups, quarter finals and third place play-off per 8 teams, you'll play semi-finals and finals that result in a complete final ranking.

  • 6 teams:
These teams compete in two groups of 3 teams, after which finals per rank are played.

  • 7 teams:
The three lowest-ranked teams play in a separate group aparte poule, while the remaining teams play semi-finals and finals spelen, leading to a detailed final ranking.
